“ Not your typical review... I had a taste for rib tips and I thought what better place to go than I-57... Honestly, no place! ....I haven't been in over a year because I live in a far south suburb and their service is not that great for me to drive the distance. Yesterday, I was actually in the area and decided it was okay to settle for poor service in order to quench my craving for some mouthwatering rib tips. My initial contact was via phone and the young lady who answered wasn't very friendly. However, I still made sure I was extremely polite to her because she has access to my food. At some point, I requested fresh fries and the phone went silent for far too many seconds as if she was irritated with my request. Again, my expectations were low so I didn't get angry. Once I arrived to pay for my food, she didn't even speak so I spoke to her...I provided my name; she gave me the order; I said thank you very much; and she said nothing in return. Once I got into my car I checked my food to learn they didn't give me a fork or any napkins. Therefore, I went back inside to request those items, of course, as politely as I could. In that moment, the young lady responded in a such a friendly manner and I thanked her and she responded with you're welcome. I succeeded!!! I am sure I will probably go on another hiatus from this place. But I hope my service today reaches her heart because that type of energy limits a businesses success. So yes, I am giving this business 4 stars based on the service in which I provided...Hoping to encourage them to do better. Just trying to be the change I want to see in this world. Oh by the way, the food did not disappoint. It was just as good as I remembered a year ago. ”
